Welcome to my blog, Mind and Body Intertwined!

My name is Lisa and I love the field of psychology. I started this blog during my Bachelor in Psychology, but now I have also received my Masters degree. During my studies, I found that the body and the mind are often working together to secure your happiness. This is how Mind and Body Intertwined came to life.

I started doing research into the connection between the mind and the body and how they can compliment each other in daily life. Certain foods can stimulate parts of the brain and a spa day can work wonders for your mindset. That’s why it is so important to take care of your body. It will make you feel better on the inside. Similarly, feeling good can also make you so much more attractive on the outside. 

This is all pretty vague and sometimes, you just want to improve a specific thing in your life. That is why I think it is important to divide life into your career and your daily life. Therefore, I also wrote some articles on these parts of your life. However, I believe that if you are happy in your career, being happy in your free time is also a lot easier and the other way around, so don’t forget to focus on both in your life!

Since it was proven that financial stress is one of the worst forms, I also wrote this e-book with a course on saving money. As a consumer psychologist, I focused not so much on simple tips, but on a broader course to take that will help you in the long term. You don’t give people a fish, you give them a fishing rod, right?

I would love to help others to be happier and healthier. That is why I will share tips and tricks in this blog about things I have learned about keeping your body healthy, keeping your mind calm and how to adjust these tips to get the most out of your career and life. I hope you would like to join me on this journey and share your tips as well, so that we can help each other out!
